Charm Jets in DIS

Abstract The structure of charm jets in deep-inelastic ep scattering (DIS) at HERA is presented. The DIS phase space covers the Q^2 range from 2 to 100 GeV^2 and in the inelasticity 0.05 < y < 0.7 . The charm jets are required to contain a reconstructed D*-meson. Various distributions, investigating the structure of these jets, including the "Dead Cone" effect, are compared with prediction from QCD-inspired Monte Carlo models.
