| Abstract |
A search is performed for events with an imbalance in transverse momentum and with an isolated high energy lepton in e^-p and e^+p scattering at HERA. The most significant Standard Model contribution to events of this topology arises from W boson production with subsequent leptonic decay. The rate of measured events is found to exceed the Standard Model prediction at high transverse momentum of the hadronic recoil system. |
