Abstract |
For the measurement of both structure functions, F2 and Fl,
it is essential to reach the maximum possible values of y
which requires an efficient identification and rejection of photoproduction background.
For Q2 above 10 GeV2 and y>0.75 the photoproduction background is subtracted
by employing the charge assignment of central track linked with cluster in SPACAL calorimeter.
HERA II data should provide at least factor of 2 of improvement on precision
of cross section measurements in high y region, previously published by H1. |
