Fragmentation properties of identified hadrons in the Breit frame at HERA and comparison to e+e- annihilation and to MLLA/LPHD predictions

Abstract The fragmentation properties of identified hadrons are investigated in the Breit frame of reference in ep DIS scattering data at HERA. The evolution of the peak and width of the fragmentation function are studied as a function of Q and hadronic mass. They are compared to published results from e+e- experiments and to predictions from MLLA/LPHD theory. A comment is made on the fundamental constants Lambda_eff and Q0 in MLLA/LPHD theory.
